Let it fly the world’s largest 4on4 flag football tour completed its 12th event this past weekend with 175 teams and just under 1000 players present over the two days. The 2003/2004 tour is gradually winding down with only three events remaining at Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco. Let It Fly is in its 10th year and was originally called the Air It Out tour owned by the NFL. The top four teams from each division will advance to the Let it fly Nationals scheduled for May 29th & 30th in Lakeland, Florida an hour west of Orlando.
 
This was the first time the tour went to Ft Lauderdale in March, as it usually is played in December. Twenty champions were crowned in the  tournament , In the competitive B title game Murder Inc beat Salsa magic 27-20 as MVP quarterback Willie Lavant threw four touchdown passes to his four different receivers Matt Puluski, Darren Brunnel, Conrad St Jean and Kevin Velazeur. While in the competitive A title game Strikeforce easily beat Take it to the cross by 20-6. The recreational A division Category 5 defeated Mobb for the title while in the B’s Highlight Red beat the Platinum Pimps, in the C division Title Sam Ex defeated Last Call 21-20 in what was seen as the most controversy ever in a 4on4 game.
 
The Coach Potato Div title game was recorded as explosive with Lesegitation outlasted Still Bain 32-26 in a shootout. The game MVP quarterback Adelfo “fofi” Iians threw five TD passes in the game to four of his best that included Ray Bule, Jesse Fiagaro and the game winning 40 yard TD to Adam Diaz with less than 30 seconds left in the game.
 
In the Top Gun division twenty four local teams showcased their skills and talent for all to see, with most originating from Miami. Mob defeated Deep threat by 24-14 for the title.Although this division is considered across the flag football market as the best ball players it also holds ground for being the most controversial. In this sector the players literally do anything to win, and use all the tricks in the book. Inverted flags, hurry up offense, no  handing back the flags are all core parts of the winning mentality in this division. The tribe of Miami is a typical example of the above explanation. The tribe is one of the teams that took advantage of the whole sportsmanship notion, after the opposing  team scored their extra point the QB would quickly line up under the center and throw a pass to a receiver before the opposing defense would have a chance of getting onto the field.
