Week 1 results/News
No need for the Hitsquad to make any changes after
beating the Degenerates, 37-6, in the first week of
the Fall 2006 8-Man A/B season.
The Hitsquad is third in the South standings, while
Outsiders/Damiens is at the top with a 19-0 win over
Sharks. Dynasty is currently second with a 20-0
pounding of Hooligans.
Other South Division scores were: Landing Pub over
G-Men, 26-7 and Brotherhood over Hurricanes, 20-19
in overtime.
In the North Division, Bedford Lighting edged the
Rebels, 8-0, to move into first in the conference.
The Bomb Squad beat the Fighting Irish, 18-12, to
grab second.
Xplosion had a bye and Shamrocks rolled past
Entourage, 21-6, in a North-Central crossover game.
Bowl Hogs (Central Division) also shutout Envy
(North Division), 25-0.
Bowl Hogs lead the Central Division, followed by
Shamrocks, Newton Cowboys and Primetime - all at
1-0. Bardellini had a bye and the Newton Cowboys
beat Spitting Takonka, 14-12.
Primetime routed Isotopers, 33-12. Isotopers are at
the bottom of the Central Division.
Gamebreakers head the 8-Man C class after a 19-7 win
over Mavericks in a North Division game. Choas slid
into the second spot in the standings with a 24-18
win over Marauders, while Venom is third following a
19-12 win over Riderz.
In the South Division, Enforcers beat Coxmen, 13-0,
in the only game played in the conference.
AOD and Nasty Boys are undefeated after a
doubleheader in the 4-Man A Division.
AOD beat Injured Reserve in the first game, 14-0,
and won another shutout over Aztech, 19-0, in game
two.
Nasty Boys beat Wildcats, 13-0, and followed with a
victory over Injured Reserve, 19-6. Aztech beat the
Wildcats, 26-0.
