MAINE MUD BOWL
JULY 22 &23RD,2006
Kingfield, ME
For Over 20 Years football in the Mud has been played in the Vacation State. In a small town of Kingfield, Maine where the  population is 900  strong, 8 teams converged to play this sloppy game of Mudfootball. The field is 25 x 60 yards long, and the mud is 12 inches think. Teams play 7 vs 7 with everyone eligible and two hand rough touch where almost everything is leagal.
    Teams play two games on Saturday for single elimination seeding on Sunday. following Saturday's games
teams take part in a pig roast barbecue and the keg throwing contest.Teams consider Maine the warm up for the Big MudBowl event in North Conway,NH Sept 9-10.
