2nd Round Playoff Results for Boston Metro Flag Football Sunday League

Crabb People lose close battle with Venom in B Division

Boston,MA- it was the second round of the playoffs for the Boston Metro Flag Football Sunday Morning League. In the 8man A division, the Outlaws crushed the Peranian Panthers 19-0, while Cahos held out Wasted Talent 24-12, which means the A division title will go to a North Team once again.

In the B Division, Xplosion knocked off Norton United 26 to 14,and Primetime eased by the Riderz 20-6. Crabb People squeaked by Mayhem 13-12, but then lost to Venom 28-25.

In the C Division,the Mavericks defeated Primo Tiempo 25-12, and in the most exciting game of the day, the Fliers scored 12 points in the final minute to defeat the Barbershop 25-21. Losing 21-13, the fliers scored in the final minute to bring the score to 21-19. The fliers proceeded to get the ball on the onside kick when the barber shop muffed the kick off inside the 20, giving the fliers the ball on the 40 with 30 seconds remaining. The fliers scored on the last play of the game to seal the victory.

In the 4Man No Contact division, it was the fourth place team(lapier builders) who came out on top as the defeated the top two teams to remain undefeated. Lapiere defeated the #1 Team Bad Guys 27-20, and Max Nutrition 19-6 to adavance to the title game.
