Claremont,NH Twin Valley League is now on the Map for Flag Football
Lumberjacks and Cable Men make it to Flag Football Finals of International Event.
Claremont,NH-Claremonts population of 15,000 people has 6 teams playing in the Twin Valley flag football League.
The number of teams isnt staggering, but the fact that two of their teams played in the Championship of the International Flag Football Festival in Foxborough,MA is amazing. The odds of one of these small town teams making it to the show is like hitting powerball, but two of them playing in the title game is equal to winning the lottery twice, almost impossible.To get to the title game, the Bundy Boys defeated the Outlaws of Nashua,NH 18-14 in a barn burner, while Robars Rampage squeaked by the Revere Wolverines 20-12.
On Saturdays both teams playe three round robin games, before advancing to Sundays Single elimination tournament.Both teams struggled on SAturday going 1-2 each, but on Sunday the teams turned up the heat and used there tournament experienced teams to win when it counted. PLayers from both teams had quite a bit of experience has most of the players have been to previous IFFF events before.
To put the Twin Valley League in perspective, its the same size as the Valencia, Venzeuela Flag Football League, just six teams, but yet two of them competed for the World Title in 8Man Ineligible B Division. Not too shabby for the tiny town located minutes from the Vermont Border.
