Pensacola, FL-Univ of West Florida Tournament
Due to the destruction from Hurricane Katrina in the New Orleans area, the University of
New Orleans (UNO) was  unable to host the 27th Annual American Collegiate Intramural
Sports (ACIS) National Flag Football Championships this year. The University of West Florida
attempted to host a similar tournament  but only half the number of teams from the previous
year participated. In the Men's Championship, Intramural Director 43 Year Old Doug Rogers
was selected MVP as he led his team to the title by defeating   last years Champions
Georgia Southern 29-26.
 In the women's division it was the first time in 10 years a team from mexico did not participate.
Sam Houston St defeated S. Baton Rouge  28-13  for the crown, while in the CoRec Divsion
Tarelton, Texas, won the championship against Nebraska Wesleyan, 40-10.

Panama City Beach,FL

The International Flag Football Federation has added a Collegiate Divsion to its World Cup Event
 in Panama City,FL. Mens, Womens, and Corec games will be played and each will play for a
 World Championship Title.

The New Jersey Flag Football Association Inc. will hold the 24th annual 9 man State
 Championship on December 3rd and 4th, 2005 in Widwood, N.J. The tournament will use 2 field
sites that have the capability to house 3 fields each. Format will be pool play on Saturday and
single elimination on Sunday, the costs are $ 400.00 per team. All teams are guaranteed a
minimum of 3 games. The official rules will be the North American Flag Football Association
 rule book. The host hotel will be the Montego Bay Resort. For further information contact
