World Cup of Flag Football

The International Federation of Flag Football (IFFF) was founded by Jim Zimolka of FlagMag in 2000. The IFFF is dedicated to organizing and promoting the World Cup of Flag Football to all people regardless of gender, race, age, religious affiliation or natural ability.

The IFFF's mission is to:

• Be the International Governing Body of Flag Football and the World Cup of Flag Football
• Integrate Flag Football as an Olympic sport
• Establish uniform IFFF World Cup rules and regulations
• Organize and develop IFFF World Cup qualifying competitions
• Develop and promote sport relations between IFFF World Cup member countries

Membership is open to countries around the world interested in participating in the World Cup of Flag Football.

IFFF members receive the following benefits:

• Official World Cup invitation
• Global television exposure
• Web exposure on World Cup website
• IFFF sponsor discounts (air, hotel, rental car, etc.)
• Seat on World Cup Advisory Board which meets annually at the World Cup
• Official World Cup uniform patch

Also, member countries receive invitations to all IFFF approved international flag football tournaments. Members receive discounted registration fees for the World Cup and the World Cup open tournaments. Following the World Cup Advisory Board meeting, members receive a newsletter summarizing what was discussed and anything that was voted on. Links to member web sites are posted on the IFFF's web site as soon as the membership is processed. In return, members are encouraged to provide a reciprocal link and are permitted to use content posted on the IFFF website based on approval of the IFFF home office.
