Media Availability with NFL Greats and Hollywood Celebrities

WHAT:                 EA SPORTS Madden NFL 12 Pigskin Pro-Am, the third annual star-studded flag football game hosted by EA SPORTS and the NFL, is making its New York City debut on Wednesday, July 27. Legendary NFL alumni, including Dan Marino, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders and Ronnie Lott along with Hollywood celebrities will take the field in Bryant Park for an exciting, action-packed event to celebrate the upcoming launch of Madden NFL 12. Madden NFL 12 goes on sale August 30. 

The EA SPORTS Madden NFL 12 Pigskin Pro-Am will air on NBC on Sunday, August 28 at 7:00 pm EST preceding the Oakland Raiders hosting the New Orleans Saints (NBC, 8:00 pm EST) preseason matchup on Sunday Night Football.

On Tuesday night, July 26, EA SPORTS also will host the “Madden NFL 12 Pigskin Pro-Am Eve” at Bryant Park Grill, a pre-party for the Pro-Am main event the following day. At this exclusive, invite-only event, athletes and celebrities will relax and mingle before the next day’s gridiron showdown, while guests will get a chance to preview Madden NFL 12 and speak with the game’s development team before the game’s August 30 launch.
